Camera Magazine was one of the many trade publications in the silent era that tracked film production activity on the West Coast. Historian Joe Moore has begun to compile and create digital versions of Camera's dispatches about short comedies in production during the early 1920s. The links below will take you to an earlier era when a slapstick comedy was seemingly being filmed in every park and lake and street in Los Angeles. They provide valuable information about casts and production personnel. Many of the titles referenced are working titles.
